She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Vaughan, Jr. and Mildred Victoria Moxley; and her sister Patricia Jean Vaughan. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" J. Maggard, Sr.; her sons, William "Joey" J. Maggard, Jr. and Matthew C. Maggard; her granddaughter Skylar E. Maggard; her brother John W. Vaughan III; and her brothers-in-law, Walter L. Maggard (Kate) and Steve L. Foster. She is also survived by family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at 11401 Bundle Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23838. In order to protect the vulnerable and high-risk members of the community, it is highly recommended that face masks be worn.
