He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Leslie Saunders, Sr. and Ruby Conner Saunders (Passalacqua); and his brother Stephen K. Saunders, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela S. Jenkins (Tom) and Jennifer S. Hilliard (Scott); his grandchildren, Matthew Jenkins (Charlotte), Michael Jenkins (Libby), Heidi Grossnickle and Anna Hilliard; his great grandchild Henry Jenkins; and his siblings, W. Michael Saunders, Joseph D. Saunders and Susan Saunders. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
