She was predeceased by : her parents, Wallace Oakley and Dolly Dorothy Powers; and her siblings, Jewell Wenk and Sammy Powers. She is survived by : her children, Heather Marks Loving and R. Sean Marks (Alicia); and her grandchildren, Sadie Nichole, Bradley Sean and Sophia Rae Lynn.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chippenham Chapel (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
