She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Saunders and Lilly Saunders; and her siblings, Mary Palmer, Lillie Tyler and Robert Saunders Jr..

She is survived by: her husband William Brown; her sister Lucy Coleman of Fredericksburg, Virginia.; and her sibling's children, Edward Coleman (Lettie) of Bowling Green, Virginia, Theodore Basking (Shantel) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Maria Armstead of Columbia, Maryland and Susie Coleman of Stafford, Virginia..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc. (16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, VA 22427). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
