We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ralph Leslie Abbott of Chesterfield, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Abbott; his parents, Bert Abbott and Annie Abbott; and his siblings, Bill, Bob Abbott, Helen Galamore and Anna May Hogue.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Hawks, Diane Given (Jamie) and Michael Abbott (Angela); and his grandchildren, Shannon Foster (John), Tim Hawks (Lauren), Rhonda Hawks, Melissa Grollimund (David), Brian Abbott, Joy Harris (Caleb), Niel Given, Bethany Blanton (John) and Sheridan Ripple (Josh). He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clover Hill Baptist Church (3100 Old Courthouse Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23236). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dale Memorial Park (10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832). In order to protect the vulnerable and high-risk members of the community, it is highly recommended that face masks be worn.
