It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rose Budd Burton (Chesterfield, Virginia), who passed away at the age of 94, on January 28, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Hoagland Budd, Sr. and Annie Cheadle Budd; her husband Robert Scott Burton; her siblings, Henry H. Budd, Jr. (Dorris), Nell Budd and Anne B. Smith (James); her sisters-in-law, Virginia B. Douglas (Russell) and Helen B. Allen (Pat); and her son-in-law Harold D. Hamby.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Virginia Cash (Randy), Karen Jones (Stuart) and Beth Hamby; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Cash (Michael Stanley-Baker), Jessica Shader (Monty), Joshua Price, Annie Ridout (David Rothman), Robert Ridout (Jenn), Tony Hamby, Kim Dirr (Bill), Stephanie Runnels and Stacie Rideout. She is also survived by children and a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hopewell Congregational Methodist Church Maintenance Fund.
