It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Hubbard DeVore of Chesterfield, Virginia, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Moyer Hubbard and Iva Bell Hubbard; and her husband Richard Edward DeVore. She is survived by: her children, Michelle DeVore Resnick (Todd Resnick) and Richard Earl DeVore; her grandchildren, Alex Resnick and Rachel Resnick; and her brother Moyer Van Arsdale Hubbard (Janese Hubbard).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dale Memorial Park (10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832).
