He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Ann Meadows; and his brother William "Butch" E. Meadows Jr.. He is survived by: his father William Edward Meadows Sr. of Naples, Florida; his wife Audrey Smith Meadows; his daughter Audrey; his son-in-law Ty Doyle; his grandchildren, Meghan and William "Luke" Doyle; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Meadows. He is also survived by many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, a nephew, and a wide circle of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
