She was predeceased by: her parents, Sung Hyung Ko and Ki Hoon Chung; her husband Pyong Hae Yu; and her sister-in-law Hui Kyong Maxwell. She is survived by: her children, Joseph "Joey" Abraham Yu and Tammy Kay Yu Fisher (Gregory); her sister-in-law Kum Ok Lee (Chang Soo); her brothers, Gwang Joon Ko (Ji Yong Ko) and Gyung Joon Ko (Young Hee Ko); and her siblings' children, John, Tedd (Tara), Aimee, Rick (Tiffany), Grace and Simon. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234).
