He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Junior Lyles and Hazel Louise Lyles; and his brother Donnie Lyles. He is survived by: his significant other Christine Arsenault; his children, Tony Lyles (Tonya), Eric Lyles (Brianna), Erica Hurley and Jennifer Hurley; his grandchildren, Braydan, Kylea and Ivy; his brothers, Randal Lyles (Linda), Kenny Lyles and Ronnie Lyles; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Lyles and Anna Lyles. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Chapel (307 Old Stage Rd, Chilhowie, VA 24319). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cleghorn Valley Church Cemetery (295 Cleghorn Valley Rd, Marion, VA 24354).
