He was predeceased by: his parents, Midge McClure and Hettie Lester; his sister Loretta; his siblings-in-law, Jim Cooper and Nancy Jane Brown McClure; his nephew Eric McClure; and his niece Whitney M. Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his siblings, Ed (Lee) of Abingdon, Teddy (Sarah) of Abingdon, Jerry (Sue) of Abingdon, Gerald (Ruth) of Abingdon, Jim of Chevy Chase, Maryland, Michael of Florida and Betsy (Roy) of Las Vegas; his sister-in-law Wilma; and his pet Prissy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Highlands Fellowship Church (22417 Watauga Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Highlands Fellowship Food Pantry or a charity of your choice in Larry's memory.
