He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandi" Grissom Barr; his children, Noah and Katie; his parents, Sidney, Sr. Barr and Polly Barr of Chilhowie, VA; his sister Deanna Thompson (Murdoch) of Marion, VA; his nieces and nephews, Gavin Roe (Molly) of Vinton, VA., Matthew Thompson of Chilhowie, VA., Morgan Epp (Alan) of Meadowview, VA., Kayla Clendenin (Jared) of Rocky Mount, VA. and Courtney Stover (Darby Farrish) of Roanoke, VA; his great-niece Sutton; his great-nephew Griffin Clendenin; his sister-in-law Peggy Hall (Floyd) of Colonial Heights, VA; and his cousins, Penny Pickel (Jeff) of Chilhowie, VA and Tim Sheets of Chilhowie, VA. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
