He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bernstein and Mary Bernstein; his parents-in-law, Louise and Newman Quillen; his brothers, Barry, David (Alice), Joseph (Christine) and Michael; his daughter-in-law Terrie Bernstein; and his brother-in-law Thomas Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Quillen; his sons, Aaron (Leeanne), Bryan (Brenda) and Kerry (Heather); his grandchildren, Kristoffer (Sarah), Jeremy and Kehli MacLean (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Korbyn; his siblings, Richard (Ellen), Faith and Nicholas (Judy); his sisters-in-law, Linda Bernstein, Terry Bernstein and Nancy Matthews; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie and Jamie Parks. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
