We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023, at the age of 81, Robert Chesser of Chincoteague Island, Virginia, born in Hallwood, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Chesser and Agnes Chesser (McCready); and his siblings, Pete Chesser, Linwood Chesser, Della Mae Denton, Marlene Taylor, Shirley Taylor and Peggy Gutherie.
He is survived by : his wife Etta Whealton Chesser of Chincoteague Island, VA; his children, Chad Chesser (Louise) of Chincoteague, Cheryl Chesser of Salisbury, MD, Denise Hopkins (Sherrill) of Pocomoke, MD and Mark Gaskins of Wallops Island, VA; and his grandchildren, Cole, Kristen, Kelsey Chesser, Nick, Andy and Laura Hopkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
