He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Thornton of Chincoteague; his daughter Tara A. Mather (Ben); his grandson W. Sebastian Mather; and his siblings, Debbie Bowman Marsh and Jake Bernstein (Judy). He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and several cousins.
