She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Lewis and Maude Lewis (Timmons); her former husband Marvin J. Francis; her husband Alfred Lionel Hopkins; her son Terry Francis; and her siblings, Nettie Dennis, Gloria Jester, Shirley Taylor, Eula Bell, Claude Lewis and Edward Lewis Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Watson (John Watson), Robin McColligan, Larry Francis and Mary Ann Parks (Jerry Taylor); and her grandchildren, Shannon Schmitt, Terri Lynn Francis, Sandy Francis and William Parks (Emily Parks). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
