She is survived by: her children, Chris Saunders (Susan) of Blacksburg and Phyllis Ann Saunders of Christiansburg; her grandchildren, Charles Saunders of Blacksburg, VA, Montana Lucas of Easly, SC, Byron Pennington of Ashland, VA and Rebecca Pennington of Riner, VA; her great grandchildren, Emma Moon Lucas, Aurora Dawn Lucas, Jaxson Philip Lucas, Matthew William Saunders and Hannah Clair Saunders; and her husband Phil Saunders.
