She was predeceased by: her parents, John Earl Williams, Sr. and Myrtle Mae Williams (Poff) of Christiansburg; and her brother John Earl Williams, Jr. of Lynchburg. She is survived by: her husband Roy Kanode of Christiansburg; and her daughters, Katherine Hall of Floyd, VA. and Karen Estepp (Dale) of Floyd, VA..
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church (475 Clearview Dr, Christiansburg, VA 24073). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
