He was predeceased by: his father Gentry Semones; his stepmother Lois Semones; his mother Alice Jenkins; his stepfather Gordon Jenkins; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Hill and Kenneth Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Beamer Semones; his sons, Michael (Patti), Mitchell (Leigha) and Brandon (Alison); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaleigh, Kensie, Ryan, Caleb, Matthew, Cristen, Eden, Erik, Luke, Isaac and Ella; his siblings, Larry Semones, Brenda Semones, Sandra (John Lewis), Neil (Rita Semones), Frank and Cheryl Beamer; his aunt Stella Jones Frye (Carlos); Billie Jean Hill, Barnett and Bonnie Beamer. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a tax-deductible mission fund to support Dennis's granddaughter Kaleigh as she serves in missions overseas in the Middle East for the next two years.
