He is survived by: his wife Cathy Wheeling Teel; his daughters, Marisa Teel of Chicago, IL and Donna Kay Hudson (Jay) of Nashville, TN.; his grandchildren, Kelsey of Nashville and Daniel of Nashville; his stepchildren, Angela M. Taylor of St. Marys, GA, Nick E. Proffitt of Williamsburg, VA and William R. Proffitt of Narrows, VA; his great grandchild Levi of Nashville; and his sister Peggy Sheppard (Roger). He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
