With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James David Duncan of Christiansburg, Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James David. Though James David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Duncan and Jeanette Duncan; his stepfather Marvin Dickerson; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Louise Hamblin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Duncan; his siblings, Barry Duncan (Terry), Billy Duncan, Debbie Jennings (Bill) and Shelby Epperly; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Wickline and Kay Terry. He is also survived by nephew that was like a son, Derek Terry; along with many nieces, nephews, and special great nieces and nephew.
