He was predeceased by: his father James Glennie Slusser; and his sister Teresa Shepherd. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Slusser (Barker) of Virginia; his son Mark Derrick Slusser; his daughter-in-law Samantha; his grandchildren, Mark James and Mikenzie; his great grandchild Monica Sanford (Justin); his siblings, Barry Slusser and Tammy Falter (Bob); his daughter Monica Sanford; Dakota Schumacher of Texas, David Lee of Texas, Justin Jr. of Texas and Nixon Sanford of Texas.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sally Slusser's Residence (1260 Scott St, Christiansburg, VA 24073).
