She was predeceased by: her parents, Reece B. Matthews and Blanche B. Matthews; her brother Jack L. Matthews; her husband Bruce E. Stevens; and her siblings-in-law, Rodrick B. Stevens, Loraine B. Stevens, Dorothy O. Stevens and Evelyn Stevens.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Stevens-Mauldon (Matthew Mauldon) of Blacksburg, VA; her grandson James E. Huckle of Roanoke, VA; her brother James W. Matthews (Carolyn) of Salem, VA; and her brothers-in-law, Richard L. Stevens of Raleigh, NC and Samuel R. Stevens of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
