She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Surface and Vivian Linkous Surface; and her husband Homer T. Vaught. She is survived by: her children, Gary Vaught (Linda), Barry Vaught, Timmy Vaught (Rita), Sherry Mabry (George Stewart), Donnie Vaught and Cindy Thornton (Vincent Akers); her siblings, Geneva Moye and James Surface; and her half-brother Ricky Pearman. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
