It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mendel Hess (Christiansburg, Virginia), who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Hess; her parents, Mendel Robert Hilton and Viola Hilton; and her sister Betty Wade. She is survived by: her son Michael Linkous (Missy) of Dublin; her grandchildren, Michaela Dawn Miller, Michael Miller of Dublin and J. Linkous (Aichel Camps) of Colorado; her great grandchild Raelyn; her brother Tommy Hilton; and her nephews, Jon Hilton of Christiansburg and Joe Hilton of Christiansburg.

She spent most of her time volunteering for RSVP, United Way, and delivering cards to nursing homes.
