It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Simmons (Christiansburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Simmons to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Simmons and Ardith Simmons; and his son Shane Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Saunders Simmons; and his daughter Teresa Simmons Elliott (Rick). He is also survived by his son and other family members.
