We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2019, Roger Dowdy (Christiansburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Traxel and Roy Dowdy; his grandson Daniel Bishop; and his sister Betty Norman. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dowdy; his children, William Dowdy (Donna) and Jennifer Sowers (Brian); his grandchildren, Alesha Sharp (Rob), Amber Sowers and MiKayla Sowers; his great grandchild Chloey Sharp; his sisters, Linda Wallace and Susan Martin; and his pet Gabby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
