He is survived by: his wife Shirley Epperly; his son Sammy Epperly Jr. (Rebecca); his stepchildren, Elmer Price and Faye Price; his grandsons, Liam Keach and Owen Epperly; his nephew Terry Lee Epperly, Jr.; and his pet Smokey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
