It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Lewis Young of Christiansburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottie Young and Evelyn Young; his wife Linda Fay Keister Young; and his siblings, David William "Boogie" Young, Joie Cametas and Frankie Tate.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Lima (Peter) and Jeanette Coley; his grandchildren, Adam Thomas (Kristen), Phillip Thomas (Katelyn), Harrison Lima (Taylor), Stacy Nester (Brian), Juliana Lima, Jesse Coley (Miranda) and Chase Coley; his great grandchildren, Fiona, Joy, Scarlett Thomas, Blake Coley and Raven Nester; and his sister Peggy Epperly. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
