She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse E. Hinkley and Nannie E. Hinkley; her siblings, Richard Oscar "June" Ornelas and Elsie E. "Tiny" Caldwell; her sons, Ronald L. "Ronnie" Custer and Christopher J. "Chris" Custer; and her brother-in-law Herman K. "Kelly" Wyatt.
She is survived by: her children, Arleta C. Early, Alfred J. "Junnie" Custer, Donna C. Early (John), Kay S. Custer and Carol J. Blackwell; her boyfriend Benito Pastrana; her children, D. R. Mans, Jessica Pastrana and Arnold Pastarana; her grandchildren, Amanda Moore (Lloyd Lopes), Samantha Early, Rusty Moore (Kyley Holleman), Joshua Custer, Joseph Custer, Alex Turpin (Zach Dao), Rachel Elkins (Cameron), Nina Richards, Jared Custer (Brylie) and John Early (Taylor); and her siblings, Jessie R. "Squeak" Wyatt and Jimmy E. "Jim" Hinkley, Sr. (Cindy Nutt). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
