Bennie H. Howdyshell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie H. Howdyshell (Churchville, Virginia), who passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mack and Iveta Odel Coffey Howdyshell; his son Bennie Hampton Howdyshell, Jr.; and his siblings, Marion Janell Howdyshell, Ernest "Buddy" Howdyshell, John Mark Howdyshell and Douglas Weaver Howdyshell.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Wagner (Darryl) of Fredericksburg, Teresa Moree (Dwight), Danny Howdyshell of Verona and David Howdyshell of Staunton; his daughter-in-law Kathy Howdyshell of Florida; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Kaminski (Joe) of New Hope, Kermit Howdyshell (Clara) of Staunton, George Howdyshell of Staunton and Roger Howdyshell (Margie) of Staunton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
