She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Monroe Diggs and Pearl Mormon Diggs (Driver); her husband Elden Ashby Griffin; her sister Audrey Michael (Frank); her brothers-in-law, Robert "Bob" Kilmer and Raymond Via; and her great-niece Tasha Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell E. Griffin (Melissa) of Swoope and Dana E. Christian (Robert) of Swoope; her siblings, Joyce Via of Quicksburg, Eleanor Bennington (Roy) of Harrisonburg, Ethelyn Kilmer of Staunton and Paul Diggs (Elizabeth) of Oklahoma City; her siblings-in-law, Jane Griffin and Jack Griffin (Donna); her granddaughter Katelyn Pearl "Katie" Griffin; her stepgranddaughter Sarah Cooke; her stepgreat-grandson Daniel Mullins; and her great-nephew Jonathan Griffin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
