He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Sprouse and Patsy Diane Sprouse Reed (Painter); his aunt Bonnie Ann White; and his grandparents, Herbert Franklin Painter and Sylvia Callie Kline Painter.
He is survived by: his sister Christine Michelle Wade of Staunton; and his nephew Jeffrey Thomas Wade of Staunton.
