She is survived by: her husband Adolphus Jant; her son Dr. Marlon Jant (Tykia) of Norfolk; and her siblings, Catherine McLaughlin Barnes (Robert) of Reidsville, Valerie McLaughlin Pinnix (Tim) of Reidsville and Charles McLaughlin (Missy) of Greensboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
