He was predeceased by: his parents, Algie Edmonds and Janie Hester; his brothers, Robert Lewis Burns and Troy Edmonds; and his niece Janie Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Edmonds of Clarksville, VA; his sons, Demetri Edmonds (Michelle) of Norfolk, VA and Detric Little of Red Oak, VA; his stepchildren, Michelle Armstrong (Vance) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Tameka Oliver of Chase City, VA, Justine Williams (Alicia) of Lynchburg, VA and Richard Oliver of Buffalo Junction, VA; his siblings, Deborah Ervin (Willie), Sandral Hilliard and Michael Marable (Betsie) of South Boston, VA; his uncle Larry Foxx of Baltimore, MD; and his stepmother Rose Edmonds (Joe Hester) of South Boston, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren and step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
