He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Winston Lloyd and Lessie Inman Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Jane W. Lloyd; his stepchildren, Richard A. Vaughan, Jr. (Lavonne), David Mark Vaughan (Jackie) and Patricia Allen (Doug); and his sister Betty Slater. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hamner-McMillian Funeral Home (1400 S Main St, Blackstone, VA 23824). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Lakeview Cemetery (802 College Ave, Blackstone, VA 23824).
