She was predeceased by: her parents, Jordan Yancey and Lillian Yancey; her brothers, Lester, Chester and Emron Yancey; and her husband William Eugene Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Powell (David) of Durham, NC and Karen Walker (Samuel) of Buffalo Junction, VA.; her grandchildren, Joseph Powell (Britany), Matthew Powell (Grace), Harrison Walker (Ashlyn DiLoreto) and Jordan Walker; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Sydney, Kessler and Winston Powell.
Per Marlene's requests, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate to Marlene's home church Union Chapel Baptist Church.
