It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clouis Louise Goad Smith (Claudville, Virginia), born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Goad and Pearl Goad; her brothers, Harvey, Louis and Jimmy Goad; her husband Rev. Tommy Smith; and her son David.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Smith of Mt. Airy and Sharon Lambeth (Terry) of Wilmington, NC; her daughter-in-law Wanda Smith (Virginia) of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Kristy Myers (Travis), Tim Smith, Jr. and Chad Lambeth (Penny); and her sister-in-law Virginia Goad. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, one step grandchild.
