He is survived by: his parents, Monte J. Hounshell (Christine) and Karen J. Asbury (John); his wife D. Elizabeth Hounshell (Hoffmaster); his brother James Asbury Hounshell (Devin); and his grandmother Doris Asbury.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent directly to the Hounshell family to assist with funeral expenses.
