He was predeceased by: his parents, Flora Lee Funk Moreland and John Franklin Moreland; his daughter Roxanna M. Emmart; and his siblings, Leona Snyder, Bessie Cowger, Margaret Moreland, Theodore Moreland, Junior Moreland and Russell Moreland.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Irene Russell Moreland; his daughter Robin M. Strosnider (Jake) of Stephens City; his grandchildren, Kirsten Lanham (Jeremiah), Brian Emmart (Lindsey), Robert Strosnider and Brandon Strosnider (Alyssa Landis); and his great grandchildren, Millie Emmart, Lane Emmart and Zoey Emmart.
