He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae Nicely Sarafandi; his children, Isaam Sarafandi of Clifton Forge, Eisheh Sarafandi of Lexington and Alia Mulcahy (Michael) of Kailua, Hawaii; his grandchildren, James Lipscomb of Lexington, Madison Lipsomb of Lexington, Colin Mulcahy of Kailua, Hawaii., Evelyn Mulcahy of Kailua, Hawaii. and Aiden Mulcahy of Kailua, Hawaii.; and his brother Palestine.
