He is survived by: his wife Sandy Simpson Sprinkle of Troutville; his son Chuck Sprinkle (Huma) of Brooklyn, NY; his stepchildren, Alana Averill of Clifton Forge and Challen Averill of Troutville; his grandchildren, Hayden Averill, Heidi Averill and Naseem Sprinkle; and his siblings-in-law, Donna, C. R. Nicely, Becky Carter, Butch, Brenda Simpson, Billy Simpson and George Simpson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members; and many friends and coworkers.
