Cora Bell Kennedy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cora Bell Kennedy (Clifton Forge, Virginia), who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Humphreys and Grace Wilfong Humphreys; her husband William Edward Kennedy; her siblings, Billy Humphreys, Frances Martin, Gertrude Argenbright, Myrtle Humphreys and Eugene Humphreys; her daughter-in-law Rhonda M. Kennedy; and her grandson Aidan Kennedy McCool.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy "Dot" Townsend (Ernie) of Fishersville, Margie Kennedy (Todd Sink) of Waynesboro, Kathy Jo Mayberry of Millboro and Donald Kennedy of Millboro; her grandchildren, Ginger R. Kennedy, E. Todd Townsend and Mandy Mayberry; her stepgrandson Danny Grimm; her great grandchildren, Lauren M. Townsend, Althea Mayberry and Bryanna Molinari; her stepgreat-grandson Daniel Grimm; her great great grandchild Monie Molinari; her close friends, William Wolfe, Jr. and Teresa Smiley; and her nephews, Freddie Martin, Mike Argenbright, Robert Humphreys, W. H. Heishman, Johnny Mayberry, William Wolfe, Jr., Bobby Burke and Jesse Simmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
