We announce the death of Deborah VanBuren (Clifton Forge, Virginia), who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 72. Deborah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Elmer "Odie" Hall and Dorothy Stull Hall; her husband Johnnie William VanBuren, Jr.; and her brother Stuart Hall. She is survived by: her sons, Johnnie VanBuren III (Tina) of Eagle Rock and Chance Aaron VanBuren of Clifton Forge; her siblings, Wanda Engleman (Dickie), Betty Fix (Larry) and Dennis Hall (Vickie); her sister-in-law Barbara Hall; her grandchildren, Caleb VanBuren, Hayden VanBuren and Nevaeh VanBuren; and her caregivers, Natieya Smith, C. J. and Molly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and special friends.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422).
