He is survived by: his wife Sharon Elaine McCarty Richmond; his children, Dennis W. Richmond, Jr. (Reba) of Covington, Jessica N. Nicely of Covington, Ashley D. Fischer of Clifton Forge and Brandy Richmond of Covington; his grandchildren, Paige, Daelin, Jessie, Shellie, Kellie, Zoey, Koda, Bentley, Raymond Wayne, Ashlyn, Regan and Heaven; his son Kirk L. Fischer; his brothers, Dale Richmond of Clifton Forge, Mason Richmond of Roanoke, William Richmond of Kentucky and James Richmond of Clifton Forge; and his close friends, Jamie, Tammy Blevins of Roanoke, Gary and Tammy Rogers of Covington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
