She was predeceased by: her parents, Odie Lee Overton, Sr. and Madge Heron Overton; her husband Steven Joseph Petercsak; and her brother Odie Lee "Buck" Overton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Karen Trahan (James) of Murfreesboro, Steven Edward Petercsak (Mary Ann) of Milltown, NJ and Douglas Wayne Petercsak (Natalia) of Camarillo, CA; her sisters, Geraldine Dutton of Orlando, FL, Betty Lou Mitchell of Chesapeake and Mary Sue Pullin of Selma; her grandchildren, Sherri Jones, Scott Nagy, Billy Petercsak, Steve Petercsak and Sophia Peterscak; and her great grandchildren, Madeline Jones and Ella Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Advent Christian Cemetery (3515 Longdale Furnace Rd, Clifton Forge, VA 24422).
