It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Pauline Aldridge (Clifton Forge, Virginia), who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Kenny Reid, Sr. and Martha Belton Reid; her husband Cecil Marion Aldridge, Sr.; and her siblings, Mildred Reid Helmintoller, Geneva Reid, Roy Barrett Reid, Roy Kenny Reid, Jr., Carl Reid, Ernest Reid, Luther Reid and Virgil Reid, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Clara Blankenship (Charles) of Eagle Rock, Jean Knick (Bobby), Barbara Clark (Robbie), Judy Aldridge and Cecil "Peewee" Aldridge of Clifton Forge; her nieces, Carol Reid and Nannie Foscoe; and her sister-in-law Joyce "Peachie" Aldridge. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three great step grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one great great step granddaughter.
