He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Persinger, Sr. and Louvenia Fairburn Persinger; his wife Betty Persinger; his daughters, Melissa Persinger and Joyce Persinger Rose; his brother Melvin Persinger; and his son-in-law Barry Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Eugene Persinger, Jr. (Mary) of Clifton Forge and Debrah Garner (Carl) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Garner (Fran) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Ginny Smith of Roanoke Rapids, Heather Brooks of Clifton Forge, Ashley Walton (Chuckie) of Covington, Elise Chittum (Zach) of Covington and Kendal Persinger (Kelsey) of Ludowici, GA; and his brothers, Jasper Persinger (Alice) of Covington and George Persinger (Shirley) of Covington. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
