It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Haynes of Clifton Forge, Virginia, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Haynes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lewis Haynes and Anita Glover Haynes; her husband Chalmer L. Higgins; and her granddaughter Shelly H. Hodgen. She is survived by : her children, Linda Hayslett (Ronnie) of Clifton Forge and Ronnie Higgins of Covington; her grandchildren, Stuart Hayslett and Kathy Higgins of Covington; and her niece Carla Haynes Dobbs of Clifton Forge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to Immanuel Baptist Church, 2819 Douthat Rd., Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
