She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wallace DeVenny, Sr. and Nellie Madeline Hicks DeVenny; her siblings, Barbara Wilkerson, Ann Jabbour, Gladys Jeffries, Martha Boucher and Leonard Wallace DeVenny, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Louis "Louie" Nicely and Thomas "Tommy" Porter; and her great grandchild Callie Nicely.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Fortier (Paul) of West Milan, NH, Tammy Nicely of Clifton Forge, Reena Anderson (Craig) of Eagle Rock, Tracie Porter of Millboro, Murray F. "Buddy" Buchanan III (Diane) of Glen Wilton and David W. Buchanan (Jan) of Clifton Forge; her sister Ina Cales (J. D.) of Covington; her grandchildren, Chrissy F. Bump, Blair Nicely, Chad Nicely, Danielle F. St. Onge, Murray "Bobby" Buchanan, Katie B. Weese, Michael Buchanan, Heather Buchanan, Bryan Buchanan, Kayla B. Paxton, Sam Anderson, Daniel Anderson and Jonathan Anderson; and her close friend Carla J. Scruggs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
